What a weekend. I tried to keep my mind off of things with Sophie by sticking pretty close to home. I got some school work done and worked another couple of shifts at the restaurant. I’m going back in there tonight as well. The extra money will come in handy with the holidays coming up.
One bit of fun I did manage to have over the weekend was checking out the Parade of Lights with Ted and his girlfriend. It was a perfect night for it. Nice and warm and clear. The kids waiting to see Santa were pretty adorable. I just wish I could’ve had Sophie there with me to enjoy it together.
Home life is pretty quiet these days. Gabby doesn’t say much anymore. Based on what I’ve read, she needs me to talk to her. If only it were that easy.

I've never been much of a talker. That makes relationships tricky for me. One of my exes put it best. She said it just takes a long time to get comfortable with me. Libraries and movie theatres are my favourite places to hang out. I live in an apartment downtown, and I think I make an excellent neighbour. I find my biggest challenge lately is a job. I just can't seem to keep one.
