It’s hit the fan. Last night was a total disaster.
Last night at the show things went completely sideways. There was this guy that kept talking with Sophie and buying her drinks. I guess they used to date or something. She seemed to keep looking at me, as if I was supposed to interject somehow. But I didn’t say anything. The words just wouldn’t come.
So long story short, things continued and I faded into the background while she spent time with him. And when the end of the night came, she left in cab with him and not with me.
It was devastating. I’m not sure how to get her back or what to do. I’m going to ask Ted for advice this weekend at the restaurant. Hopefully work will be a good distraction as I figure things out.

I've never been much of a talker. That makes relationships tricky for me. One of my exes put it best. She said it just takes a long time to get comfortable with me. Libraries and movie theatres are my favourite places to hang out. I live in an apartment downtown, and I think I make an excellent neighbour. I find my biggest challenge lately is a job. I just can't seem to keep one.
